It is however a very useful tool for image editing. For example, Photoshop has some vector capabilities, but it would be quite a struggle to try and control the laser. It has been quite a while since I looked at Print shop, but I think it’s effectiveness with the laser largely depends on it’s vector capabilities. The only problem I’ve had is that I need to ungroup boxes or it only cuts 3 sides of the box. Try it! In general, any program will work with the laser because the laser acts like a normal printer.įor me, i like to use macromedia’s freehand.

It will ultimately depend on the types of processing you will be involved in. I think you’ll find that CorelDRAW or PhotoShop will give you a much wider range of processing capabilities, and will be much better suited for working with the laser. I’ve used both programs but I’ve only used Corel with the laser. I wondered if anyone knew if we could use Print Shop instead of Crel Draw? I’m sorry if that is an ignorant question, but PS is what I am familiar with and use all the time. Hello! We are new and we are thinking about the Epilog Mini.
